AGAINST STORYTELLING: A STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

with Mark KingsleyFounder/CCO at Malcontent & Author

Storytelling is everywhere in branding—but do we really know what it means? In this provocative, 3-hour workshop, Mark Kingsley (Founder/CCO at Malcontent & Author) invites you to question and redefine the role of story in design and strategy.

Through conversation and guided frameworks, you’ll explore multiple definitions of story, examine its relevance in branding, and learn how to use narrative with clarity and intention.

Participants will learn:

  • How to shift between analytical and narrative thinking

  • Expanded and practical definitions of “story”

  • How story can serve the design and brand development process

  • Why story still matters—and how to use it well

Materials needed:

  • Note taking device

Workshop Time:

Saturday, November 1 • 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM EST. Video replays available for 90 days.
