Don't miss Draplin in Memphis.

Join Creative Works for a special night with legendary graphic designer, Aaron Draplin. We'll be in the historic Clayborn Temple in Downtown Memphis as Aaron shares the intimate details behind his new book, Pretty Much Everything. A signing and meet & greet will follow the talk, with copies of the book (plus a bunch of other merch) available for purchase.

About Aaron Draplin

Like the man himself, Aaron Draplin’s graphic design work is bold, accessible, and iconic. From Ford Motors, to Burton Snowboards, to the Obama Administration, Aaron has used his creative vision and disciplined process to produce definitive work for brands and organizations both big and small.

Aaron is also the creator of Field Notes, the ubiquitous pocket notebooks loved by creatives, travelers, and anyone who just needs to write stuff down. His new book, Pretty Much Everything, is a mid-career survey of work, case studies, inspiration, road stories, lists, maps, how-to's, and advice. He's currently driving a big orange van around the country.

On November 14th, you’ll be one of the first to step foot in the mid-renovation Clayborn Temple. As the central location of the 1968 sanitation strikes, this historic building is a beacon of the civil rights movement and Memphis history. Now, it is in the very early stages of becoming new again. See photos and read more about the renovation in the Commercial Appeal.
